Oh hell of month it was.the family goes mobile again after almost 12 years nesting in Kuantan.packing up was dreadful.unpacking was unfortunately even worst than that.the life of a government servant i guess.they keep pushing my dad here and there,all over peninsular practically.hopefully this is the last pits stop.i've had enough.schooling days?urrgh.we kept moving since i was 3 months old,i went through 4 primary and 4 secondary schools.throughout the 10 years of school.Now,again,have to find new 'kaki (s) ' here.especially for basketball.hardly know anyone here.

So currently my base is in johore now.way south.singapore is just within reach now.but hell,i'm gonna need to drive my way over 300++km every hols from kuantan to johor.back and forth.my route of choice is through Mersing.God,the route is like a Grand Turismo track.people are racing.not just among cars,busses and lorries too.freaks the crap outta me.Here are some pictures to summarize the whole journey:

A Geologist lab

Last weekend,me and my friend hariry,we're assigned by a geology based company called Techno Radar to take pictures of their lab and the workplace there.We were told that it is to be published in a magazine to promote the company,which is still new,to the oil and gas industry.The pictures will also be used in the company profile and other presentation.

It was my first time taking pictures formally,and actually with a specific motives and expectations.i honestly didn't know what to give actually,feared that the manager might not be happy with the pictures,but it turned out great!

The manager,Mukrim,which is a friend i know from the basketball court where we use to play together, let us use the company's dslr,which is a Nikon d200.it was the first time ever,i handled a professional high end dslr.we went blank at first cause there were so many buttons!i dare not use the camera,so instead i stick on to my nikon d40.

Mukrim was kind enough to let me use a macro lens owned by the company too for the shoot out.all i can say is,WOOOW!!the lens is superb!!!the one i used was nikkor af-s 60mm f2.8.the pictures were super sharp!with the wide aperture,it made life much easier shooting under low light.the details it kept were amazing.

Another lens i tried on that day was nikkor af-s 18-70mm.this lens focus amazingly fast!no wonder people are hunting for this.Coupled with nikon D200,it simply blew me away.i wish could post up all of the great shots we caught on that day,but the manager said it would be against the company's policies.we could be sued,for leaking the company's equipments and informations about them.too bad.only a few were allowed.check these out.

So there i was,digging through my stuffs in this one bag,which i ignored for quite sometimes.well,2 years or so i guess.i ONLY use it to store my macbook when travelling.so i didn't care about it much all this while.so lets call this one, Sad-Neglected bag.

The so-called 'excavation' started when my sister asked me to buy her a bag.i didn't have the heart to say no.she did extremely well in her first exam recently in high school.so i thought maybe i should,as present for her achievement.but heck,i had a big hole in wallet.so instead,i offered her this bag i love to her.the bag is kinda 'girly' according to some,but hey,it's my favorite.

Anyways,as i dug out everything from my beloved bag,i found out lotsa stuffs,well,rubbish actually.i didn't realize all this while i was carrying a 'bag sampah' to class and practically everywhere!dang!nothing really useful in there actually.and seldom i always thought everthing i would ever need is in that bag.i was drop dead wrong.the bag is nothing more but a pretty-sampah-carrying bag all this while.

On the other hand,the Sad-Neglected bag,wooh.i made some pretty exciting 'unearthing'.haha.let me show you what i found.

I hope you still recognize this.to whom it may concern.i love this thing.i really thought i've lost it.this is the first birthday card that i got throughout my life so far.and what more if its from someone you love dearly.hand-made pulak tu!tak tau nak exaggerate macam mane dah.haha.Thanks for this.i'll keep it safely after this.

And another shocking discovery was..:

MY LONG LOST IPOD!

It was my first iPod!Nano!when i couldn't find it,i thought my grandma kept it and she somehow thinks she's funny.she did that before to my iPod shuffle.after 2 months (i'm not making this up) of searching,out of despair,i bought a new one.due to unstable emotion,i bought an iPod touch.this is like a rebound or something.and today i found Nano in that Sad-Neglected bag.How 'delightful' i was.knowing that i poked a friggin' black hole in my pocket for nothing.

Conclusion i can make from today's 'shocking' discovery:I AM CARELESS.wtf.nuff said.

The four plastic-eyed Dalek

Dalek came all the way to Malaysia from Austria.The story of how he got here is pretty crazy though.but real thanks to those who know just how to spice my life with this element of surprise.God bless you.:)

Anyway,for those who still didn't get me,dalek is a camera.supersampler to be exact, but the one i got is the special edition from dalek.google 'lomography' if you're still curious.anyways,here's how dalek sees the world:

It was pretty unfortunate for me that the first roll didn't work out.there were a few shots yang jadi.but Lenny was too busy to scan it for me.it was a rare agfa film that came from death.err,10 years of expiry actually.oh well.

Those above was from Fujifilm Superia 400.I can't wait to try off my first slide film!a rare Agfa ct.wohoo!

Yeah!Good lord!it has been over a month since i last posted something on this blog! Apologies for that.anyways,there's nothing much happening lately though.

Well,there are some,but none qualified as something to be discussed nor shared publicly.

Life?gets challenging each day i would assure you.with lots,no,tones of work piling up.packed schedule every week.but always,when you work hard,or read hard,you have to let go of that grudge.in rather a healthy beneficial way.like basketball for instance.hehe.

oh,since i've mentioned about it,nak promo sikit.those in uia especially!we've started a proper training !weekly!We'll be training from the very basic footworks,lay ups,shooting drills,dribbling drills,fitness every now and then.oh!oh!and the best part is,you get to practice it as we'll be arranging friendly matches with other teams out there.and,we've hired the best coach available in the country to give us the lessons!so come join us!posters will come up soon.

talk about university,i think i miss my old school.both sabs and smart.i miss the environment,the good old naggy teachers and mak guard garang.haha.i dire to play hide and seek with the discipline teacher around school,dodging thrown chalks in class,lompat pagar.camp fire with the good old buddies.its sad we don't get to hang out much often now.

anyhow,all the best to 2008 SPM candidates last year.my bro is one of them.good luck in crawling in the house and remain non-fuctional.haha.kidding.results coming up next month!Do not forget to fill up your UPU forms and start looking for scholarships both online and in papers.Don't miss the deadline!trust me.'ve been there.

Batam we went

Mom and Dad were complaining about not having any oversea trips with the family.Heck,it was too expensive and you know what.the food!susah!we have deep concerns about what to eat when we go abroad.and to be frank,that's the main reason that have been refraining us from packing up.

Fortunate enough,Batam came across Charlie's mind and we all came into agreement to choose it as a holiday destination.Why?Its cheap,its near,less to worry about the food.Cause its a Muslim country.

Yah..and so we went there.and it was one of the most memorable family trips in 2008 to be reminisced.It took me awhile to choose a few over hundreds of pics of Batam to share it with you readers.hope you enjoy what i see through that cheap lens of mine.:D

We saw beautiful views and chosed our ride there.both pics classified as, sumpahtakedit.hahe.

Along the way,what we saw was mostly tankers from all around the world.huge ships!with pretty amazing reflected scenery from the shores on the other side.like what depicted above and what's below.two of them are sumpahedit.hahe.

Finally,almost two hours of bumpy ride across the coast,we arrive to Batam.Woohoo!:D

Next,hired a taxi and went on around the island.Contrary to popular belief,Batam is not a small island.Its actually twice the size of Singapore,as what i was told by our tourist guide.Unfortunately,due to time constraint, (as we don't want to spend the night there),we only manage to go to two hotspots in Batam; Jambatan Barelang Satu and Nagoya.

If you go here,do not forget,i repeat,DO NOT forget to try the special drink people sell there.Its Kelapa Limau.the taste is terrific!I don't have any picture of Nagoya sadly.Nagoya is not a shopping mall as it is in Malaysia.Nagoya is a small town,a town for shopping spree!You see girls,mak cik, or even nenek fighting over a piece of cloth here.hehe.kidding.

Anyways,eventhough its rather a short visit,it was certainly an eye opening experience for me.You who still haven't tried travelling outside Malaysia,you should try. Overall,what i can say is, I love Malaysia.

Morshe Dayan or also known as Musa Dayan.i swear to God I’ve never heard of that name before..far from knowing who he is and what he did that was significant to the history.probably what he said that made him some one we should know.not to respect but to take note of what he conveyed to the world.he made a bold statement.really.and the statement,although its bitter to swallow,its the fact that is relevant and true.

Who is he?He’s Jewish.He was the general of an army.An army who fought against the Muslim’s army.If I recall correctly,he was the one who led the army of Israel during the war between Israel and the Arab Nations.Nations,that’s a plural there.meaning the Muslims army.more like a handicap match I would say.sadly to my suprise,the army Morshe led manage to overpower and beat the crap out of the Arab Nations army.hard to swallow that.

What happened is like the total opposite to what happened during the time of prophet.its exactly like what happened to the Israel army.a handicap match they fought.but,with the will of God and the creed that the Muslims at that time uphold,they manage to beat every single Kufar army that tried to restrain the da’wah.It shows something there.try to extract there.

You want to know what Morshe Dayan said when they (Israel) won the campaign?
He said,
‘Muslim nowadays doesn’t know Al-Qur’an.
If they know it,they don’t read it.
If they read it,they don’t understand it.
If they understand it,they don’t practice it.
And if they practice it,they practice it wrongly.
Until they fix that,we can do what ever want,beat them at any cost.It’ll take them the whole eternity to fix that.

Just got back home man!!road trip went well!From Malaysia to Indonesia and from Malaysia to Singapore.Dang..from my trip,to put it in order,Singapore has the best looking city,Malaysia is in the middle,and sorry,that region of Indonesia i went was worst than Tangkak.But hey,I still love Malaysia overall.So glad to be back home,but totally freaked out for the upcoming end block exam.pathology..psychology..immunology..histopathology..study cases..shit...shit...shit..

Will write in later about the trip and the faces of Singapore and Batam,Indonesia.

Crossing the culture line.

Culture is something that somehow denotes your origin and i think this is true.those who lives abroad for studies or even work would certainly realize this,and that is why most of them i assume,are very proud to tell the locals there on how things were in that place they call homeland.culture remains as a sort of essence that is close to them,and its reflected clearly through the behavior.culture can be anything really.its not restricted to only those dances and customs.Anything we do can be a culture,as in other might call it habit.

Culture is too beautiful to be thrown away.and its best for us to share it with those who are foreign to it.of course this excludes the ones that are seen as destructive or negative.and retaining it, is essential to every individuals.Its sad to see if the whole world becomes mono-cultured.its a great loss really,to see this going on in a raising trend.especially to those young ones who are exposed to various cultures that are foreign through the net or the plasma screen and cathode ray tubes.Or even oddly like this one:

Culture can be shared in very exciting way.of course students abroad have the best chance of doing so in the foreign land.but local students can do so.especially those in the higher institution of learning that is multinational or multiracial.

I can consider myself lucky for having some international students and students from different states in Malaysia at the lecture hall as it creates the door to sharing what we don't have in common.the opportunity becomes bigger today when we successfully organized a family day,albeit among the medical students only,we managed to break the barrier among us and unite as the ummah with ukhuwwah.have fun together,within the boundaries as Muslims.the pictures will follow suit later ya'all.

For those who found themselves lost in identity,one advice for you:dig deep to rediscover your roots, and rebuild it.happy weekend people!:)

Its pretty sad to see your friends happily travel halfway around world when you have to chain yourself to the study table,for at least another 5 days or so.yah..you people on leave or holiday,i envy you all.from the very depth of my soul.i mean it.Since i'm losing focus on my reading,i'm gonna play this little game of akmal,a tag that is.it requires me to publicly display my humble workspace.oh well.this is how the place i spent most of my time in UIA looks like.

this is the price i had to pay.being short sighted but hate to wear glasses.its kinda hassle to wear them though.with the time limit of 8 hours per day to be able to see the world clearly,i'm thinking of doing lasik.what do you all think?oh,btw, 'lasik' is a laser surgery to correct your eyesight.

don't get any ideas.that's a table clock fyi.clock+tabung.yah..you have to put it into that 'butt'.one of the stuff that lured tourists to my study table.they unbelievably love it.

How suck the public transport here

This is not an attempt to disgrace Kuantan.yah..its in kuantan people.the capital of pahang they said.
i dare to say that i've been in kuantan long enough to see how this small town grow,well so far.oh yah,fyi the nickname of this town is 'Bandar Palma'.but i still fail to locate the natural palm trees around here,other than the fake ones the municipal council have been planting since about 5 years back before they came up with that ironic nickname.sorry kuantan..indeed i've betrayed you.and i'm doing it.

Kuantan is really not a down right 'pit-of-boredom'.really.majority of my friends are still enjoying how things goes here.a peaceful town is how i describe it.yah.so peaceful that you can rarely see public buses commuting people.once every couple of hour maybe?sadly as it already is,not to blame the municipal council,but,for having to spend half of my life here in this beloved town,i still fail to see any improvement in terms of the public transport here.it is still the old box-looking bus which might fall every parts of it along the driveway.

there are only two companies who ran the business; bee huat and sihat.yah,the word 'sihat' or 'healthy' in translation,is written on its body chasis.and you know what?i fell sick after taking that bus from school back in 2001,and that was the first and the last time i ever took a bus around town.and now,as the end of 2008 is nearing,i see that friggin bus wandering around town .though rarely,but i can sense it's existence.come on man,throw some money for new buses you people.how can you expect the business to bloom if you dare not to invest?

taxi is another thing.i know its not the hottest issue in harakah or metro,but heck,i thought the government have resolved thing matter.and today i learnt that they did next to nothing.i just arrived from kl today,and as i happen to be exausted ,i thought of hiring a cab way back home.upon arriving and as i walk myself out from the bus,several uncles approached me and asked me if i want to hire a cab.having them suspected as 'ulat',i just gave them a smile and walk away.as if i know what i'm doing.so there and then i went to a booth outside the terminal and ask them how much would they charge me if i were to hire one cab to bukit sekilau.without hestitating, "RM10".i looked at him in disbelieve and give him the 'no' sign and off i go.
its not even 1km for God sake!rm10 for that?!come one pak cik.nak manja kan diri sikit pun ade je yang menyakitkan hati.God..do something mayor!i'll be eligble to vote next year.you don't want to be sorry.

Memory

Something funny about memory I learnt from Dr Umeed.memory which is popularly divided into two which are short term storage and also long term storage.How we develop the memory?the process goes somehow like this:
first introduction is when the information is registered to our brain,which later stored as short term storage.through encoding and repetition,the short term will then be stored as long term memory.this is also achieved through rehearsal of that particular information whether through behavioral as in practice,or even through recalling it in your mind.long term memory can be further sub-classified into skill and another one which I can’t recall.haih.short term memory I guess.

The funny fact that I learnt today is about a life being who has the shortest memory storage ever.whom I thought to be myself,turned out to something else.that being is a SHEEP.yah.a sheep.it has the shortest memory,that last only a few hours.according to him,to explain why every morning all sheep are seen to be restless.it is because they have been in the dark (night) for quite sometime (though only a few hours),they forgot that there is sunrise that will come afterwards.haha.

However,according to another idea from my friend,the shortest memory in a living thing is 3 seconds.which goes to a goldfish.freaking weird facts.I've never had a goldfish as a pet before or seen how they behave,so its better for me to not elaborate more on.sheep and goldfish.haha.i wonder is that why sheep doesn't mind too much when their fur are being shaved.because on the very next morning,the sheep already forgot that it was once a furry animal.haha.pity on all of them collectively.

So i guess its better for us to start using our brain to its full capacity,as in to understand, memorize and correlate everything that we've learnt though its not easy.After all,mind power and the ability to make choices that distinguish us from the rest beings.Thus we should act accordingly.roar!

Psychiatrist vs psychology

Somehow,this is not really a popular branch in studying Medicine especially in Malaysia.Why?This is because the cliche here is,psychiatrist only handle people with mental problem or in other word,gila.I'm sorry for the rough word.

From a medical student point of view,many may take psychology lighter as to compared to other subjects like Immunology and Pathology.Cause heck,majority have this thought that,

"psychology is really something in our mind.We don't need someone to tell us what's inside of us.we feel it every day."

Exactly.it is something that you feel and deal with every single day.i would like to stress here that this is not an attempt to make you admit that you do have mental problem.no such thing.well maybe a mild attempt.haha.no just kidding.but its true though that we seldom look at psychiatrist as if they're some sort of freak who is just as crazy as the people they treat.But heck,like Dr Umeed said,psychiatrist are not crazy people,but it helps if he is.Why? simple psychology is rather simple to handle,by everyone.You don't need to be a counsellor to handle the task.

But mind you,patho-psychology or psycho-pathology is a whole different thing.i repeat,A WHOLE DIFFERENT THING.so if you're counsellor who happens to read this post,don't hang up new ads in front of your doors just to expand the business.Again,why does it help to be crazy enough when handling a mental problem patient?Its because its really hard to understand what the patient is dealing with.and its almost impossible to treat the patient if the doctor refuse to understand the pathogenesis.However,do not get stuck in that crazy state once you enter it doctors.we need you back.

I remembered a story told by my room mate,about how extreme it could get,to understand something. Once a very influenced counsellor,who of course,studied psychology prior to his career,happens to give a talk,a motivational one to an audience who are drug addicts.He kept on asking throughout his talk,he went,

"I don't understand,why you all fell into this trap of drug abusing.its plain wrong.you know how dark the future will be but you keep on falling deeper into it.why?"

And there was one of the audience stood up to answer that question.fiercely but polite.He went,

"Sir,have you ever tried shabu or ganja?no right?then how would you know why we fell into this trap in the first place?"

The counsellor was taken aback.He agreed with the statement.He went back home after that and gave a thorough thought about it.and you know what?he decided to try on drugs.yes.he did.he spent a fortune on drugs and he was heavy on it.he went from a hero,being zero.

It was then told that he went up to Indonesia to get treatment in order to shake off that bad habit he developed.to make it short,he eventually succeeded in doing so.And he finally understood how the whole thing feels like and how hard it is to heal from it.There and then,he manage to climb back the stairs to being a great counsellor and his speech to the drug abuser has never been effective than ever.He managed to found a center for treating these people who have problems with drugs.

Yah.To that extent it takes to understand a simple "no".

I'm off to read psychology now.

The right way to do it?I don't really have the answers to that.Nevertheless,it shouldn't be that hard.And something that i am certain about,there shouldn't be any elements of threats or ultimatum in dealing with feelings.Because it doesn't show or prove anything.It doesn't portrays any degree of that you want to prove,and so you said.It instills a feeling of insecure,threatened and pressured.stressed.The appropriate reaction towards threats?As in the law of God,it is Fight or flight.Really.The law also implies onto human.its in the nervous system.you can't change that.You can't blame me for having this feeling.

Forgetfulness is what differs us from higher beings.But still,computers are not higher beings as to compare to humans.Only God remembers everything,of everyone.and He understands that.That is why He ask us to repent everytime we forgot any of our obligations.He doesn't push or pressure (at least for now).He constantly reminds us of what we forget.In His own ways.Then who are we to punish when someone forgets something?Certainly reactions towards it should never exceed the limit or be overly expressed.Sebab melebih-lebih dalam perbalahan adalah ciri munafik.

Most students in any university (i think) would have a kind of exercise or,should i say a continuous assessment almost every week now and then.what we termed as Tutorial.

It is suppose to be the platform for us to know where the loopholes in our reading.really..how is that so?simply when you can't answer a certain question,that denotes that you have not yet cover it through your reading.

so after several times getting low marks in your tutorial,you are expected to raise it by reading more frequent.or maybe do extra extra readings on certain topics right?that supposedly to be the case.

But sometimes,there is just so much to read,understand and to glue it to your mind in a single day.reading everything on weekend is not going to help anymore in certain cases.in fact,its not effective.why?when a new input is registered into your brain,you'll have to reread it within 24 hours time to make it last.that's what i remembered of Dr Ye Tun saying.

But hell,lately,the tutorial that comes is just too specific and made detailed purposely.on one side,it is to show to us how broad the topic is,and how your little readings won't help you to get by.sadly on the other side,it might get you to give a second thought on what you've been studying all these years.

tutorial is to make you look undoubtedly stupid.

Eagle eye

It was yesterday (i guess if i can still recall,which i doubt i can) when Majid told me that they're going to watch Eagle eye with Ben,Faris,Munir,Muiz and some others.the movie didn't really attracting to me,judging by the title.however,today,i was proved that it was wrong to judge a movie just by glancing over the screen title.

This might spoil the movie a bit for those who intend to watch it over the weekend.So if you do want to watch it,stop reading this.

It is crazy to ever imagine that a computer (or supercomputer,or main frame,or whatever you call it.) can take control over most of the things around you,eavesdropping every word you utter,manipulate your surroundings,or even kill a mortal!thats a computer killing a man!and you know what triggers that?DEPRESSION.

A crazy cross depressed computer kills people!now you wish there wasn't so much computerized stuffs around you.haha.imagine if your laptop,macbook or desktop have just had enough of you,who pushes 'her' around to download movie(s) and music tracks through torrent,and yet refuse to seed some for others.man,i wonder what it could do as a vengeance to the owners.

Anyhow,the plot was deliberately arrange in such a manner to show how artificially tailored intelligence can exceed the limit that human put,and utterly decide crazy stuffs like killing the people on the top of the country's administration.and as i said,it starts with depression.yes!the computer is depressed and angry because her (the computer was named Aria) recommendation was purposely ignored.haih..and when that takes it toll,you'll see collateral damage that is just to pricey!

Well the rest you'll have to watch it by yourself,enough with the spoiling and start to anticipate the actions!haha.happy watching!roar!:D

Its funny when you think about it actually.struggling yourself to flee from the boredom within you.especially when you don’t really know what actually it is that bores you.

Its crazy how hard you try to entertain yourself..remember what you did last time to ease up your boredom?
I still remember what my friend did.he jumped out from the window out of boredom.from 2nd floor.lucky him he can still walk.Another friend of mine made a piercing on his nose out of boredom.why?I asked him. “bosan la ade 2 je lubang hidung.” I looked at him in disbelieve,and just walk away.

boredom can really get you into the stupidest resort there is for you.
for those who still have some sense in their head will resort to more civilized approach or rather acceptable by the community.like posting a new entry for an instance.yah..i’m at peak of my boredom.it sucks when you try to break out from your daily routine,just to find that there is nothing else fun to do.

tried being adventurous by climbing those rocky path all the way up to kelah waterfall.enjoyed live musics that’s really a music (finally) and crazy enough to go for a road trip to Melaka without any proper directions.

In short,Boredom--->materialize the craziness inside you.true?

but don’t be stupid enough to take your own life just because that you’re bored of the monotonous life you’ve been living.wait,your life is nothing like that.its just you who thinks that your life is a piece of crap.so quit those foolish mindset and be free from it!dah la.pegi study!

ASB on fatwa?

I was recently acknowledged that there was a fatwa issued on ASB on early September,that it is haram.Due to uncertain source of income in terms of its investment.Is that another great news or what?

Back in my university,it is often debated about the validity of investing in Islamic perspective,and heck,we did research on it and presented it to other students and a doctor of philosophy (that's my lecture who resembles Anwar Ibrahim.yah he does.).Previously we came into a consensus that ASB is HARUS,and the research done was based on current resources at that time.

However,now with the new fatwa i heard,it got me puzzled all over again.

Is it true that the fatwa on ASB was issued?on September?saying that investing in ASB is haram now?Because when i browse through the internet,the last fatwa issued on ASB was in February,and it was stated that investing in ASB is Harus.
What now?

This is not the first bad news in the field of economy i guess.Last week,if i recalled it correctly,the index composite in BSKL has just made a nose dive and it has not made any significant revival just yet.What happened?What made the investors hesitate?
the peralihan kuasa?does it show that we're indecisive in choosing our leader?This certainly have created doubts among them (investors) to believe that the political field in Malaysia is stable.

So what now Malaysians?

50mm nikkor prime lens people!

The latest prime lens snapper!but sadly,its not available in the market just yet cause heck,nikon just recently announced it!take a peek at this:

It is said to replace the previous prime lense which was nikkor 50mm/f1.8 (that is 1.8 aperture people!good sh*t.).what's lack on the previous lense was lack in internal silent-wave motor and its slow in focusing.you ask Hariry about it cause he owns one.Nonetheless,the previous lens still produce a hella great shots and,easy on the pocket (rm380 or so) compared to the successor which is expected to be a bit more expensive.

I don't think i need to define what's ipod is,how it looks like and all,cause generally,when we talk about mp3 of even mp4 player,the icon here is ipod!not some china made ipod-alike people,but the old good apple ipod.well,its not practically old i guess,cause these people in Apple inc. never ran out of ideas on how to make it more sexy,friendly plus with superb sound quality!and they recently added another line up for you guys,the apple enthusiasts,to add it to your collection!

I'm not making this up but you all must notice that its not enough to stick with one ipod when there's more coming to the stores with loads of greater features,each time they hit the stores!yah!i'm talking about collections of ipod!

It was in the 90s when people brags about having the most collectible stamps or even old coins.i am not saying that they're outdated and uncool,but its just not the hype anymore you see?

yah..people keeps saying that getting an ipod (yah,one ipod) is expensive,so don't start yadda..yadda..stop it.it won't be that expensive to collect them if you know howto.but it requires a bit of hard work.like browsing the net!ebay!amazon!lelong!or even mudah.com.you find the means!

its totally unnecessary for you to buy all the ipods available in stores now, as 1st hand.because its not worth it!(if you intend to collect them)instead,find those used ones which still 90% like new that is CHEAP.it won't scratch your reputation if you have one or two 2nd hand item in your collection.besides,the thrill in collecting is in the quest of finding the best and the most worthwhile isn't it?

if you go through the list of ipod generations released before,there's just too much to be listed here.from the classic scroll-to-play black and white till the latest touch-to-play ipods.

one thing for sure,certainly reading medicine brings you closer to our Creator.and people who choose this path sure will start to enjoy reading medicine.yah,enjoy reading,but not memorizing i guess.that's a whole different thing.

then stamps are bought for attachment,pick one for use,and the rest is kept in your album.a treasure that is, to you.its cool to have stamp albums and to collect them is worthwhile is it?

remember when the only way to talk to those far from you is via the public phone?people lining up for 10 meters at least to use the old public phone.with a bag of coins,to make sure that they can buy time,talking to the people they care.

remember in primary school?those days when nasi lemak only cost you 50 cents.2 ringgit is enough to full that stomach for the entire day.syrup for drink?50 cents also.cheap..

and the trend that time was 'rambut belah tengah'.haha.so dudes with those hairstyle never fail to catch people's attention.because it's cool!well at least it was.

not valid anymore today.today is different.but people can never shrug off what happened before.simply because it all happened for a reason.a reason that is to drive everyone forward.

But this scenario is no longer seen only among women nowadays.i’m not saying that men now are trying to appear beauty.well, I don't want to oppose completely,but there are men who are too aware of their physical appearance,or ‘metro’ to put it in a term.Rather,these men are so into keeping their physicals up to the extend of taking drugs besides regular exercise.and on growing popularity is Growth Hormone.

what growth hormones can do to men?its protein sparer.result?you’ll get protein disposition to your muscles and there you go!bulky hands and packed abs.that’s not it,another effect is you’ll body will utilize fat, and this will reduce your fat in body,be it in circulation or stored form.in simple word,your body will favor for fat as energy source before opting for carbs.

for those who don’t know, ‘ask a ninja’ is actually a title of the latest podcast that I found on the net and not to elaborate more,it is simply hillarious..haha.you may find that its kinda hard to catch the words as he was kinda talking like batman.you know,making
those growling sound of a hungry bear on a hot sunny ramadhan daylight.haha.really.but its a good practice for those who's looking to improve their language skills,
fairly an easy way.haha.

I was reading on this review actually when I decided to write this post.It was a brief interview between a magazine and the creator of the podcast (yah its a podcast).
It went like:

is there such thing as ninja love?hehe.to be frank I even doubt if there was ninja in the first place.yah..its all over the tv and manga,but they seems like those extinct
martial arts,no longer being practiced.until I got to know that one of my course mate is actually taking ninjutsu!yah..how weird...no!how ‘cool’ is that..he was said to
walk around petaling street the other day carrying a katana!yah..of course the katana has clothe folding it.if not,he wouldn't have been shot death of thrown into custody at least.

anyways,back to the podcast.you simply have to watch it.when you find yourself too absorbed into the computer screen going online just to bore yourself more,why not take a peek

Due to his shortness of breathing,it is also recommended that he get the oxygen treatment.This is important to correct his central and peripheral cyanosis which were obviously presented.Oxygen therapy should be able to improve his overall oxygen saturation in blood.

It is also recommended that Mr AF admit to Pulmonary Rehabilitation.This is found relevant to improve his daily life in staying active.The program may includes modules of exercise that suits his condition,nutrition advise and education about the disease as to how to manage it,and counseling.

If no improvement noted from taking medicine,Mr AF should consider himself for surgery.Lung Volume Reduction Surgery (LVRS) is suggested to further alleviate his symptoms by removing damaged tissue from lungs.

I don't know why,but it seems that people surrounding me lately have this habit of giving new names to me,rather than calling me name fully.like the one on my ic.Mohd Ashraf bin Ghazali.

Instead,they separately take portions of my name and start calling me with that,expecting a respond from this farsighted dude.This is another thing.expectation.oh yah and farsighted.rabun.

You see,when you call someone by the name that he don't expect people to call him,don't expect him to turn around and smile.To add a twist,when he's a farsighted,blur who couldn't care less to wear anything to help him see.Yah..a dude who who 'd just say "Nah..i see tomorrow.".Nope.Not in his list.Too see what's coming ahead is not his main concern.Yup..such person exist and still roaming out there,freely.

Patient DIagnose-Part 1

AF who was 52 years old came to the doctor one day to complaint about his shortness of breathing and reduced tolerance.Reduced tolerance can also be interpreted as to be easily worn out or exhausted,could be out of the disorder in either his respiratory system or his cardiovascular.Those were the only few early assumption that could be wrong.Too early to make any conclusion here.

Further interrogation is needed to dig his history presenting illness.

Later AF admitted that he has difficulties in breathing while climbing the stairs and his dyspnea worsen as he climbs only 2 flight of stairs.He also had a chronic cough that produced a lot of sputum,a mixture of saliva and mucus coughed out from the respiratory tract.His wife added that his lips would turn blue following shortness of breath.

Aha!here’s the clue.bluish of lips following shortness of breathing.why?refer to the clinical medicine books and you will find that this presents a symptom of cyanosis.Cynosis?That is what could be easily termed as the poor supply of oxygen.This calls for the physical examination

AF admitted that he had befriended with someone who died earlier due to tuberculosis.

This is another point that could relate to the shortness of breath he experienced.Why?tuberculosis is infectious.To add, it is a lung infection disease due to bacterial myobacterium tuberculosis.He has the potential to get infected and this calls for the sputum of acid fast bacilli and sputum for culture and sensitivity.PCR and Mantoux test can further confirm his condition.

The result was negative to all test.NO myobacterium tuberculosis.
He denied prolonged fever.another point here.this shows that there is no infection happened.fever is actually an inflammatory respond of the body to fight antigen such as the myobacterial tuberculosis,if it presents.So,again,no infection.His respiratory system is not compromised by tuberculosis.

Lymph nodes,not palpable.this is normal.lymph nodes only becomes palpable in case of cancer or carcinoma.

He denied having any chest pain or haemoptysis .Cardiovascular findings shows that there’s no murmur heard.So,no problem there.The first and second heart sound were normal.Further confirms that there is nothing wrong with his heart.However there was a difficulties in palpating his apex of heart at the 5th intercostal space.

This is another point for discussion.Problem in palpating.this suggest that there’s increase in the anterior posterior diameter of the thoracic cavity.So the apex of the heart is difficult to be located.What cause the increase in anterior posterior diameter?1)accessory muscles of the respiratory failure.2)size of the lung increased.

Xray done on him and revealed that there was increase in his lung volume.
So the increased lung size causes the increase in anterior posterior diameter.

Further examination revealed that he has no chest tenderness and the chest expansion was reduced.It is also noted that the patient has intercostal retraction.
Intercostal retraction is state of the intercostal muscles coming to its original state.

At the neck,the sternocleidomastoid muscle noted to be prominent.

So this could explain about the increase in the anterior posterior diameter.the sternocleidomastoid is holding the sternum in such position that there’s no more room for the chest cavity to expand.which leads to the shortness of breathing.

From the xray,the diaphragm is consistently flat.this will seriously affect the normal mechanism of breathing.the diaphragm was suppose to be flat only during inspiration.consistently being flat will effect the expiration process.the lung cavity will always remain expanded and this is hard for the lung to expel the CO2 .

From the lab, the arterial blood gas showed that the pH of the blood is reduced to slightly acidic.pH7.25.normal is pH7.4.

this could lead to metabolic acidosis.

Partial pressure of O2 is below normal and partial pressure of CO2 is above normal.HCO3 (bicarbonate ion)is higher than normal.
Low PO2 further strengthen that AF has poor O2 supply to his tissue.Cyanosis.from his physical examination,he has both central and peripheral cyanosis.central cyanosis can be seen through the bluish of his tongue while the peripheral cyanosis can be seen through his hand.blue that is.

Hans Krebs is sucha genius that he could figure such a 'funny' way to haunt nearly half of the science geeks population..in certain cases,for the rest of their lifes!

i am no geek so i exclude myself from this.

oxaloacetate-->citrate-->isocitrate-->al ketoglutarate-->succinyl coA-->succinate-->fumarate-->malate-->oxaloacetate-->sampai mati

with so many f weird enzymes names to memorize alongside atp and other products.aconitase?who the hell came up with that name?oh yah...of course...hans krebs the genius.thanx hans..could life get any better?i submit that it cannot!

glycolysis?too many geniuses to mention here..Eduard Buchner and William Yong to name a few.memorize all these metabolic pathway is very much a hassle to people who's mind too occupied with stuffs like...stuff.other important stuffs.

aku bukan la ustaz nak cakap pasal kemuliaan sesuatu pekerjaan tu..apatah lagi nak decide and distinguish between what that is noble as what's not.but shouldn't it be based on intention?that is why only God has the right to judge whether the things we do is to be rewarded rightfully..or not.

being a doc is a noble profession..and so they said.but is that what matter most?to prove that what we're doing is noble to people who are just too blind to see.don't you think that's a stuupid thing to do?why not prove it to God who is all seeing?
